AKA's Senior Fellow on Public Policy Mac Haddow met with Indonesian Ambassador Mahendra Siregar at the Business Forum on Trade in Indonesia in New York City this morning. They had an excellent discussion on kratom and the challenges with the BNN in Indonesia - who repeat the FDA propaganda on kratom every day. Ambassador Siregar has recently been named by President Joko Widodo as the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Republic of Indonesia. Ambassador Siregar told Mac he will be emphasizing the expansion of trade by Indonesia and the United States. Kratom can be a part of that effort. The key to keeping the export of kratom from Indonesia to the U.S. legal is providing the truth about kratom and how the FDA is #wrongonthescience and #wrongonthepolicy on kratom.
