On March 22, the Supreme Court of Missouri issued a new order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other directives, the order suspends with certain listed exceptions all in-person proceedings in all state courts through April 17 and authorizing local courts to determine the manner in which the listed exceptions should be conducted.

To our Community and Valued Clients: In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, Kranitz, Sadoun & Carpenter, PC has been reviewing our policies and procedures to ensure we are doing our utmost to comply with the recommendations of the CDC and State leadership. It is our duty to provide continued services for our clients while assuring we are maintaining business operations and safeguarding employee and client health. We have spent the last weeks preparing for an Order requi...ring us to shelter in place. Now, in light of the new shelter in place order, we will operate completely remotely. Rest assured that we have the functionality to continue to protect the legal interests of our clients and our community. As such, we are operational and have the capability to conduct virtual meetings when needed. Our phones will continue to be answered and transferred to the appropriate KSC team member. Additionally, we continue to have access to the Courts and to file pleadings on behalf of our clients. As we continue following the progression of COVID-19 we will communicate any adjustments made to our business processes. There is nothing any more important than the care, safety, and health of our community, our clients, and our staff. We are searching for participants for a focus group. Participants will listen to issues regarding an upcoming Federal Jury Trial (civil rights / wrongful death) and provide explicit feedback. This is paid participation. Screening will be done to ensure participants meet specific criterion. If interested, please message us. There will be one session in Saint Joseph at 9 am on July 27th, breakfast provided, and one session in Kansas City at 12:30 pm on July 27th, lunch provided.
