Summer is here again so guess what.........we're BUSY!!!!! Please call early to schedule your appointment. We are booked out 2-3 weeks for small dogs and 4-5 weeks for large dogs. We only have one office person who is very busy so if she does not answer the phone please leave us a message. She also helps us in the grooming room if we have one that is being sharp and pointy! If we do not get you called back please try again. Sometimes we have trouble hearing you phone number. We work very hard to get everyone in for grooming but we can only physically groom so many in one day, the groomers like to enjoy life also! We appreciate your patience!!!

March 10, 2021 Dear Members, You won't believe the insane piece of legislation that has been introduced in the California legislature! I wish we could all shrug... it off... but this is really bad and we all know that what happens in California doesn't STAY in California! It will set precedent to move into more states or get passed at the federal level. California AB702 must be stopped! California AB702 mandates that residents of the state of California who own an unaltered dog or cat must either spay/neuter your pets or obtain a breeders license which would include oversight from local animal control and allow them entrance into your residence to "inspect" your animals. If passed, AB702 would give local animal control jurisdiction and access to private homes and confidential business information of anyone who owns an intact male or female dog or cat. Mandating licensing fees is going to accomplish nothing but reduce the number of dogs and cats that are licensed because people who cannot afford the high licensing fee will not license their dogs and cats, let alone the cost of the mandatory spay/neuter thereby potentially increasing the unwanted dog population in the shelters. Once passed, AB702 would no longer be under the state's purview allowing each local animal control to set up their own rules and oversight criteria. AB702 intends to over-regulate hobby breeders and expose their private property to local animal control inspections. People who own dogs for show will no longer be able to show because dogs that are altered are not allowed in the show circuit. AB702 is an attack on hobby and show breeders! AB702 punishes law-abiding animal owners by forcing them to either spay and neuter their dog or cat or obtain a breeder permit. AB702 is counter to the California laws that have made mandatory spay-neuter illegal. AB702 is an unfunded mandate placing the cost of enforcement and inspections on local jurisdictions with no reimbursement, passing the costs onto the permit and license holder. AB702 puts regulatory oversight into the hands of local animal control agencies which do not have the training to manage this potentially huge undertaking. AB702 is misguided and unneeded, as there are existing laws currently on the books which have established rigorous requirements for dog breeders and consumers protections. AB702 will increase the cost of pets across the state of California, harming lower and middle income families who want to purchase a purpose bred pet. Please join us in OPPOSING California AB702. Thank you everyone for all of our yummy treats and gifts! It has been a crazy year but we made it through together! I appreciate all of our amazing customers being patient with us. We couldn't do what we do without you and we love all of our fur babies! Everyone have a Merry Christmas and we will see you all next year!!!!!!!!

We need towels!!! If you bring us 3 or more towels you will get a free nail trim or $5 off your next groom or board! They can be stained but please no holes. Thank you!!!!

We have talked to the health department and will be reopening on the 25th WOOHOO!!!!!!!! We are so excited to see everyone again (2legged and 4legged) but please help us and yourselves stay safe. If you have been sick DO NOT bring your dog in. Please maintain social distancing while you are there. We will be wiping all the surfaces down in between each customer. We have missed all of our groomers and boarders and can't wait to see you all!!!!!!!

Update: owner found. We are reuniting now! Thanks everyone!! I still have this sweet girl. I have knocked on a few doors with no answer. I have been told someon...e was looking for her in the Benton street/Institute street area but I don't know who it was. I am getting her scanned for a microchip now. See more
