Please consider an online donation to the "Tootsie Roll Drive" using the square link below. https://checkout.square.site//d6c2bdb6-3f05-40ad-8058-b486 Our annual Tootsie Roll Drive has been the main fund raiser for the Knights of Columbus Developmental Center for decades. Covid 19 has severely limited donations at our traditional collection points. Councils all over the state are turning to electronic giving for Donations. If you wish to donate to help support our efforts, Your local Kimmswick Council #2333 and the Missouri State Knights of Columbus Thanks you for your support!

Becoming a nun is more of a vocation rather than a profession. Life as a nun brings happiness beyond societal standards. Religious life is more of a calling. ... When you are a nun, there is always something new. There's no boredom because you can't get enough of doing the things you like. It is possible to be happy beyond wealth, power, and 'intimate relationship.' The terms nun and sister are often used interchangeably, properly speaking, a NUN is a female religious who lives a contemplative life of prayer and meditation within a monastery while a SISTER (in the Christian religions) lives an active vocation of service to the needy, sick, poor, and uneducated. (Paths, Vol.2)

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) We long for the day when you will join us at the table of the Lord to share in the fullness of His life-giving ...Sacraments-taken from the Rite of Acceptance The RCIA is a faith process to initiate adult candidates into the spiritual life of the Roman Catholic Church. This journey of faith will begin on Sunday September 13 at St. Joseph Church. The RCIA program is for adultsunbaptized, baptized, or non-Catholic Christianswho seek full communion with the Catholic Church, as well as baptized, but uninstructed Catholics. During the sessions, the candidates are accompanied by clergy and Catholics who share their knowledge and love of the Church. These various presentations by Catechists (priests, seminarians, religious, and lay ministers) are the foundations of the faith journey. Through the various Rites in the program, the parish as a whole supports, prays, and celebrates this journey of faith with these candidates. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or returning to the practice of your Catholic faith we invite you to attend the inquiry session being held on Tuesday August 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Center. Please contact Sr. Rosemary Buttice, ASCJ, at 636-464-1013 ext. 106 for more information. Also, if you know someone who may be interested in RCIA please invite him/her to call Sr. Rosemary.
