Wireless Emergency Alert system, WEA is available on most mobile phones! WEAs look like text messages, but are designed to get your attention and alert you with... a unique sound and vibration, both repeated twice. WEAs are no more than 90 characters, and will include the type and time of the alert, any action you should take, as well as the agency issuing the alert. Anyone who needs help cleaning up after Saturday's storm is asked to call.

The Knox County LEPC annual table top exercise will be held this Saturday, April 1 at the Knox County High School Cafeteria from 10am to 2pm.

The next meeting of the Knox County LEPC will be on Wednesday, February 8, at the Blue Room at 6pm.
