Happy National Pig Day! What better day than today to take reservations on this year's butcher hogs. They will be processed in September you pay a flat rate for the hog and pay your processing please let us know if you are interested in getting on the list!

"Hole-y" is a cow we nursed back to health when she got a tree limb punctured in her side and was wedged in between two trees (because of course it was 2020 so ...something crazy was bound to happen). Never in my life had I ever seen anything like it. The boys and I had to take care of the situation along with our landlord and we were able to free her from the two trees. We had to give her medicine that would possibly abort the baby but without it she would die. It was a gut wrenching decision that we made and hoped for the best. It was a long year nursing her wound and not knowing if her calf would be alive or not when born. This morning she kicked off our spring calving season with a beautiful healthy baby...praying 2021 is a better year for cows and all! See more
