The SWEET CORN is ready! Get some tomorrow at Kirksville Kiwanis Farmers' Market! Throughout Farmer's Market season, Melani Kelsey has selflessly created succulent gardens and donated them to Kirksville Area Habitat for Humanity. We have displayed and sold the gardens at Habitat's Farmer's Market booth. Melani and the rest of the Kelsey family are continuing their support of Habitat by bringing their delicious sweet corn to the Habitat booth on Saturday. They are sharing their proceeds with Habitat while giving everyone a chance to pick up some delicious sweet corn. So please stop by the Habitat booth at Farmer's Market on Saturday, support a great cause and get some sweet corn. They have two varieties: Peaches and Cream along with Incredible.

Tomorrow's going to be a beautiful day for minimal exertion!! The Kirksville Area Habitat for Humanity crew was out at Fort Chariton last night making final preparations for the Sloth Trot 0.5K. (Did you know that a group of sloths is called a "Bed"? Sounds relaxing, doesn't it?). We've been overwhelmed by the community support we've received! Be sure to stop in and thank our sponsors by visiting their businesses in the the coming weeks!

Don't forget the Sloth Trot Costume Contest! $100 Gift Card for Best Dressed Team and $25 Gift Card for Best Dressed Individuals. We hope to see lots of good looking sloths, Flashes, couch potatoes, Jane Fondas and Richard Simmonses, Uncle Sams, or just folks sporting homemade sloth masks from the tutorial below... Bring lawn chairs, stuff your pockets with cash, and don't forget to carpool!
