Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department

We are at the Firehouse giving out Food Boxes with a gallon of milk for anyone that would like one.

We want to explain this one more time since there has been some issues with this. If you did not pay your fire tag and we respond to your home or business you will receive a bill that starts at 500 dollars an hour plus 100 for tone out. That’s why we stress the importance of paying your tags. If for some reason you don’t receive a tag then please contact us so we can fix the issue. There are Missouri state statutes that allow volunteer departments to do this. So if it is a structure fire and we are there for several hours and you do not have a tag you can receive a bill for over 1,000 dollars. A tag for 60 is a lot cheaper than a couple thousand.

These are the produce boxes we had delivered this morning. Great looking produce. Strawberries, peaches, peppers, lemons, corn, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, egg plant. We will be passing out tonight at Firehouse from 6pm to 8pm.

We will have approximately 180 produce boxes at the Fire House tomorrow. We will hold a drive thru for pick up from 6pm to 8pm Monday Aug 3

Our thoughts and prayers are with the crew from JPAD ambulance who were involved in a serious crash today. Please say an extra prayer for the crew and pt that was involved they really need it!

We will be giving out free produce boxes this Thursday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Kinsey Fire Department. We will have approximately 150 boxes to hand out. Everyone is welcome.

One of our tag holders today got ahold of us and donate all the meat, side, and utensils for us and our families to have an amazing dinner and thanked us for everything we have done for his family over the years and just wanted to give back. Thank you it was very much appreciated and thanks to Medic 2 for joining us.

We still have a few of the produce boxes left with some milk. Please stop in and grab some. We will be up here for just a little bit longer.

Just a reminder we will be handing out Food Boxes today starting around 1pm today. They contain produce, milk, and other cold/freezer items.

We will have approximately 120 boxes to give out along with milk and items that need to be keep cool. We pick up at 1130 am and hope to be back at firehouse between 1230 and 1pm to give out the boxes.

Friendly Reminder tomorrow is election day at our Fire House. Please do not block the fire house bay doors in case of an emergency and we have to get out. Hope to see everyone please remember to vote!!

Our hearts are heavy today, as we lost a brother, a teacher, and a friend Goose Creek Fire Chief Bob Reeves. Bob was always a phone call away and was always there to help our department in anyway he could. The world lost one of the greats when Bob answered his last call. May you rest in peace... we have it from here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wendy, the rest of his family, and 4400 Goose Creek Fire Department. If anyone needs anything please let us know.
