We celebrated a life yesterday of the heartbeat of our marketing team. Paula Elias passed away Thursday morning after a long courageous battle with cancer. The power of the messages in all of our advertising came from her and the incredibly witty and fun brainstorming sessions we would have together. She was one of Kilgore’s Medical Pharmacy’s greatest cheerleaders, and a friend that we will all miss greatly and NEVER forget. Her love and light were big, and she pushed us to do things out of our comfort zone to create our brand, but she was always on point. Paula, you will be missed greatly by the Kilgore’s family, and it was an absolute honor working with you

We never wanted this post to come, but with cases rising sharply, we have had our 1st COVID-19 positive employees at our ASHLAND location over the weekend. Both employees were exposed from a positive household member (NOT AT WORK). The affected employees last worked on Tuesday (7/8) & Wednesday (7/9). Out of abundance of caution, even though all coworkers were wearing masks, we have quarantined any coworkers affected until they can be appropriately tested. According to CD...C & Health Department guidelines, we believe no customers are considered exposed (less than 6 ft. for 15 minutes). In Mid-March, based on CDC guidelines, we implemented many safety measures at all of our locations to protect customers & staff (including keeping our lobbies closed). We are constantly evaluating these measures, and we are making changes as needed. In addition, our Ashland location received an appropriate deep cleaning over the weekend from a professional cleaning company. We thank you for your understanding at this time.

Steve, one of our compounding technicians who has been with us for 9&1/2 years turned 50 today! We had a great party! Happy Birthday, Steve-O! (Even though your football teams are the wrong teams )

Folks! We are staying the same during this first phase of reopening. Our lobbies will remain closed. We will still be curbside, drive-thru, and delivery only. Our crew is doing a superb job of taking care of US as a community, and we support the Health Department’s decision to clamp down for a bit longer. We will keep you posted when we change our format.
