The Shower Ministry

COVID-19 MINISTRY UPDATE: At this time we ARE continuing our Shower Ministry on Sunday Mornings from 8-9 am and we are still distributing lunch bags Monday-Friday 11 am - 12 noon. We are practicing social distancing, and this will limit the number of volunteers we have and the number of people we are able to serve. We are also using gloves and making sure to clean and disinfect all surfaces in our kitchen, shower, and laundry facilities. We realize that a number of services are no longer available, and so we hope to be able to continue our homeless ministries as long as we feel that we are able to do so safely without putting people at unnecessary risk. If you have flu like symptoms (fever, coughing, sneezing, difficulty breathing) or are feeling sick PLEASE DO NOT COME IN. Instead, call Truman Hospital at (816) 404-CARE (2273). Thanks!
