Use a mortgage calculator to plug in your numbers to help you determine your mortgage payment based on purchase price, down payment, and interest rate. There are many good apps to download!... Don’t forget to factor in other expenses like utilities, appliances, ongoing home maintenance, taxes, and homeowners insurance. You will also need to budget for costs associated with your home purchase such as a home inspection, appraisal, closings costs and down payment, etc. If you want to get specifics and find out what your personal numbers look like, it is best to contact a mortgage lender who can talk with you about all of your options, different loan programs and any special financing that might be available. There are so many factors to consider when you’re thinking about putting your house in the market. Your house is most likely unique along with your individual circumstances.
