KCPD Explorers Post #8600

During tonight’s meeting we let the Explores experience what the KCPD Traffic Enforcement Unit does. They got the opportunity to use the Lidar (Laser/Radar) to check how fast a motorist is going.

On Saturday, the Explorers got to take part in the dedication of the new Regional Law Enforcement Memorial Garden next to the Shoal Creek Patrol Station in the Northland.

Greetings fellow explorers!! My name is Johnny Law and I’ll be handling the group’s admin duties from now on (though if you think real hard you may be able to figure out who I really am!) Unfortunately this upcoming meeting for Thursday has been canceled. There’s simply too many things going on right now. Hopefully we’ll be able to start things back up in a couple of weeks. I’m sure you all understand. In the meantime please provide your support for your local law enforcement officers. They are working massive amounts of overtime and are away from their families. A simple nod, a thumbs up or a thanks you goes further than you can imagine. In the meantime, stay positive and safe! Hopefully our country and community will get back to normal soon. Take care!
