The Community Voice newspaper is presenting their 2020 Small Business Awards. They will be focusing on African-American businesses in Kansas and the Kansas City area that in spite of COVID-19, have shifted, pivoted, survived, and thrived. They want to recognize the business acumen and savvy it took in the midst of this pandemic to succeed.

The City of Kansas City, Mo is inviting all residents of KCMO to provide valuable feedback through the Playbook.kcmo.gov website to help the City to build the new citywide comprehensive plan that will be the roadmap for our City for the next 20 years. This plan replaces the Focus Comprehensive plan that has been our guiding citywide planning document for the last 20 years.
