Want to put forth as little effort as possible on Thanksgiving this year? Or maybe you’d like some easy recipes that don’t require a lot of thought or fancy ingredients? For a taste of Thanksgiving without all the oppressive preparation, there’s Cranberry Slow-Cooker Turkey Breast, from: Six Ingredients: 100+ Fast and Easy Family Meals (2019). This easy recipe, which involves orange juice and onion soup mix, is also available on the book's blog: https://bit.ly/38u976R. Unless you and your potential better half met at a Julia Roberts/Sally Field fan club, I’m not sure who would find it wise to select the Date Night Movie Collection for an actual dateunless you wanted to scare your date away. Nevertheless, some marketing genius has thus packaged three '80s tearjerker melodramas and one '90s rom-com for your watching pleasure. Steel Magnolias (1989) and My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) are on one DVD, and Murphy’s Romance (1985) and Places in the Heart (1984) are on the other. So, date night or not, for a good laugh, or cry, place a hold here: https://bit.ly/2FFKJ5Q. And if you have watched these movies on a date, we’d love to hear about it in the comments!
