We believe we are called to BE the church (Ekklesia) 24/7. We also believe we are to assemble with other beli...evers who live around us. (Hebrews 10:25) Our goal is to meet together to encourage and edify each other in a way where each member can participate. We strive to follow the pattern for assembling together as seen in 1 Cor. 14:26. We believe men and woman can prophesy. (Acts 2:17) We are on mission with God to continually make disciples. (Matthew 28:19-20) If you are a follower of Jesus Christ and you would like to join us, DELTA FELLOWSHIP, this Sunday, we are meeting in a home to share a meal (lunch) at 12:30pm followed by an assembly of the Ekklesia (believers) led by the Holy Spirit. There are things going on in the world today that Satan has intended for evil, but God has a different plan. If you are a Christ-follower, you are a part of that plan. It's time to shine brightly!

Maybe this worldwide shutdown is an opportunity to correct our theology of church. Church is not somewhere we go. It's something that we are. Perhaps people could just be the church wherever they are. Maybe this means simply ministering to our immediate families and close neighbors. I believe God has given us an amazing opportunity during this season. There's nothing wrong with watching a sermon on the internet, but there is no need to adopt a spectator mentality when it come...s to being the church. Every believer is called to use his/her gifts to edify others in the body of Christ and to be Salt and Light to a hurting world. There are a lot of people around us who are afraid and maybe in need. What would happen if all of the people who normally show-up for a Sunday service gathered in their homes with two or three other believers and earnestly prayed for the needs around them, being willing to act as the Holy Spirit leads them. Just think of the exponential impact this could make. I plan on keeping my eyes open for the one God puts in my path. This is possibly the most amazing opportunity Christ has set before His true church, before every tribe, language, and people. May God empower every Christ follower today! May He find us faithful! Due to the high interest in the Chief's game this Sunday, we will be meeting this SATURDAY EVENING at 6pm. We will have a pot luck dinner.
