Today we honor the men and women who lost their lives, and the men and women who risked their lives, by not hesitating, but jumping into action to help this great nation in a time of need. Flags will be at half staff until sunset this evening. Let's take a moment to remember not only the horrific moments that took place that day, but the reason this country is so great, and that's how we as a nation responded to the event. Ever wonder how a flagpole is fixed, when it breaks on top of a large building? We certainly can’t get a sign truck 40 stories up, so we have to go a different route! We work with a gentleman who flies in, and climbs the pole himself. This job was downtown, roughly 25 stories up, then another 40’ up the pole. Cable was replaced, and flag was up and flying just a few hours later! If you have a difficult job, or a flagpole in an area a truck just can’t reach, we can take care of you!
