WICKED FUN FACT! The Wicked Witch was nameless in L. Frank Baum's Oz books, until Gregory Maguire wrote Wicked, which was later adapted for stage. Maguire came up with the moniker by using Baum's initials. L.F.B. = El-pha-ba.

It looks like The Sanderson Sisters are back just in time to ruin your Thursday night plans with I Put a Spell on You - a spoof of and tribute to the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus. Fair warning - if you are tuning in at 8 pm EST tomorrow evening, these may not be the only villians you see.

Regarding the recent announcement by The Broadway League regarding the status of New York Broadway Theaters: The announcement is exclusive to Broadway in New York. However, this continued shutdown has a painful impact on our entire industry. Hundreds of thousands of live entertainment employees continue to be out of work, theaters across the country are still dark and we continue to be unable to fulfill our mission of raising funds to support our educational outreach programs by presenting a Broadway season in Kansas City through 2020. We have announced postponements through 2020 and will continue to keep our website updated as postponements continue. We are saddened by this announcement and continue to hope for Congressional relief to help all of our live entertainment colleagues across the country.
