Happy Friday! It was so good to take a social media break but I plan to be back at posting full time soon! I’ve been so busy with sessions though and I have soo much to share! Thank you all for keeping me busy. ... I have some pretty big things coming soon & changing up some things lol I can’t share the details yet but so darn excited!! But what I can share is that I will be doing creek mini sessions in June, & I will be doing studio/outdoor motherhood mini sessions. That info will be posted in the next couple of weeks!

You all trusting me to capture all the sweet moments is seriously the best. Thank you! I've taken a much needed break, but I am back to posting! I will only be taking limited number of sessions a month for now.

It's been a moment since I have posted on here but I had to share this sweet couple. It was a beautiful day. They danced, laughed, and we just had a really great time! I really do love this job. I know that I don't post often on here anymore, but I will get there soon. Thanks for sticking around, I appreciate it more than you know.

this weekend is going to be so pretty, and I am so ready to get back outside. I am now booking Mommy & Me sessions. These will not be on a specific date, I will be doing them from now until June. These can also be for Grandma's too! Also, these can be in studio or outdoor. & I have a client closet available as well. So ready for this nice weather. It's been quite the winter this year. I am booking full sessions now, and will be doing a couple of mini sessions throughout the year. You all this girl is a wild one. She has strong opinions already and so sassy, but I am so lucky that I get to be her momma & she is obsessed with belly buttons right now because they make "honking" noises like a car. LOL Being her momma is one of the best things I will ever experience. Also, I will be catching up to all messages, contracts, and things tonight. Even if it's late, I will get it all caught up! :) And I will be doing some mommy & me sessions soon for Mother's... Day! I will be posting those soon! Hey everyone! I have not officially changed my pricing yet for the year, so before I do that, this week is suppose to be really nice outside. My baby girl always modeling for me. Also, I took a much needed break from social media for a few days. I really needed to just get away for a moment. I am back though, and will be getting to messages and emails soon. ... If I am being honest though, it's been really hard for me to focus on photography right now. Photography has always taken the back burner ever since I started doing this thing. College came first, and then my jobs after that came first. Never photography. I always just did it on the side or as a hobby, and then a few years ago, I decided to make it into a legit business as I started making more money. You know, I started out majoring in graphic design in college, and after a couple of semesters, I decided that I wanted to change my major. I was going to do photography, but I was told by ( not my parents, my parents have always supported me in any of the decisions that I made) someone that photography will not make any money for me and that it won't be successful. So, I decided to go to school to do something in the healthcare field because there will always be a job. So, you guessed it, that's where I am at today. Working in healthcare, and doing photography when I have extra time, but also trying to pay taxes and have a legit business. I am very thankful for my jobs and for the people that have supported me in everything along the way, but sometimes I wonder where I would be if I would have followed my heart & chose my dream career. So if you wonder why I don't reply right back, or get to send contracts and invoices really soon it's because I am battling a struggle right now, and only get to do it when I have a bit of free time after kids go to bed, or in the evening after I get off work. I am trying, I promise. I know I suck at the business side of things. but my goal is get better at all the business things and make a to do list! I don't want my clients to fill like you don't matter because you do. You are a big part of the reason I am where I am at right now & I am very thankful for that. I know that one day, I will get to live out my dream, but it's just not my time. If I have one piece of advice when you have the chance to do what makes you happy, freaking do it! I have a lot of photographer friends that are so dang successful and are killing it in this industry! So, I know it's possible. I am not giving up on photography, even though I have thought about it a lot lately. I will fight through the hard times, and come out better and stronger!

Happy almost Tuesday. Moms and kiddos are one of my favorite things to photograph. Dads are fun to but we all know how they feel how about taking pictures. LOL

Announcement Post! I am now booking sessions for spring & summer months. So if would like to go ahead and book your session for when it's warm out, message me. I offer payment options, so if you book early, you can use the payment option. Pricing & Packages will be changing starting Feb. 5th. If you have already paid for a session and signed a contract for an upcoming session this does not apply to you. ... If you want to book a session with my current pricing for spring or summer you will have until Feb. 5th. Lastly, I am officially not taking anymore all day weddings. I am all booked for weddings for this year, and after that, I will not be scheduling all day weddings anymore. I have thought about offering packages for intimate small weddings or elopements, but I haven't decided that yet. However, I do have some really amazingly talented photographer friends that I would love to recommend for an all day coverage wedding. I will still be taking engagement sessions, but just not all day weddings. Anyways, thank you all for understanding and I am ready to take on this year with all of you! Happy 2021! My biggest goal this year is to slow down and to be present. I want to be intentional with my time spent with my kids, husband, family & friends. I want to enjoy the little moments this year, the up close moments. The moments that we miss sometimes when life gets super crazy. I have huge goals this year, and I have some big plans to reach those goals. Also, have some amazing people in my life that will be helping along the way, and I am so thankful for them. ... Happy Wednesday! Thinking of doing boudoir sessions in time for Vday! These will take place at the studio. Hair & Make up at the studio would be available as an extra option. What attracts you to my work? What do you love most about it? I have had so many things heavy on my heart in this photography industry that I want to share, but I've never been good at putting my feelings into words. So, one day soon I will go more into depth into these weird feelings of mine. But really, everyone in this photography community, just keep being you. Do what makes you happy. Don't worry about others, everyone has an opinion. Just be kind to one another. ... and if you want to do something, then do the damn thing. Don't let others to tell you that you shouldn’t do this or that. You put in the hard work and late hours, so you deserve to do whatever the hell you want to. and if you want a specific brand or style for your work, then do it. Work for it. Let everyone just be themselves, and support them. Again, be kind & support one another. Sorry for the slight rant. It makes me so uncomfortable. But I'm going to leave you with these cuties!

I know it's soo late but I am going to share anyways. I had the sweetest family come hang out with me and we captured some really sweet moments. We had the best time! and the little puppy's name is Harper, so I think it was definitely meant to be.

I have some more previews to share this evening, I know I have some anxious clients waiting LOL I promise, it's coming! & I enjoyed photographing these two! We had so much fun!

I don't have any fancy caption for ya this late at night, but I do have a sweet little moment to share with you. I can't believe this momma trusted me to do her family session. She is a talented photographer, and I feel so humbled that she chose me to capture her sweet family. Also, if anyone is interested in some studio sessions with their babies & kiddos, I am thinking about putting together something for next month or January, but would be studio only, and client closet will be open to use for these as well. It's that time of day for a B & A. Hope everyone is having a great week!

I know that I am pretty quiet posting on social media, but there is a lot going on behind the scenes that I am working towards. It's exhausting, but I am a step closer every day. Getting there. Stay with me. LOL Also, look at this little cuddly guy. I have many people ask if I do newborn sessions, and I do. I know that I don't post a lot about booking newborns, but I still do them. I only do lifestyle and lightly posed/wrapped newborn sessions. So if you are wondering what ...a lifestyle studio session kinda looks like when you book with me, here you go! and in the warmer months, I would love to start doing newborn lifestyle outdoors as well as studio. So I may be looking for a couple families to model for next spring/summer. I do have studio openings for end of December into Jan.

It's a lot of hard work & late nights but it's worth it. & this was at the end of their session, kiddos were getting tired, as you can tell, little man was already done with me at this point, but hung in there! Today is the day! My Harper Sloan is a ONE year old! One year ago today, I had no clue that I was going to meet her that night. After my fall mini sessions that night, I went into labor, and here we are a year later! She lived in the NICU for a whole month, and gave us a little scare, but now she is a healthy & happy little girl! Her favorite word is Mom right now as should be. LOL But she is the perfect little dream that made our family complete. She is sassy & loves to voice her opinion so a little opposite of her brother, but it's a good balance. but really, she just annoys her brother A LOT!

Mom & me sessions are one of my favorites. Mommas & babies cuddling is the sweetest thing. Dads cuddles are pretty sweet too, but we know how much dads love getting their photos taken. They really love it. A lot. LOL In other news, I am working on some pretty cool new things for my little business. So I am really excited to finally get to share it with you soon, hopefully. but not ready to share quite yet. & I just want to say thank you to all of my followers & clients. I couldn't do this thing without you all. It really does mean the world to me & my little family. So thank you for loving on me!

Hey there! I don't think I have actually every properly introduced myself on here, so here it goes... Just turned 30 2ish months ago. I am a momma of 2 sweet babies, almost 3 year old & almost 1 year old. Hudson James & Harper Sloan & I married my best friend. Random facts in case you are interested... I may be shy when I first meet you, but when I get all warmed up to you, I talk. Maybe a lot. Maybe not. I love a good sense of humor in others. I will eat anything chocolate... like, I will devour it. I have never actually been drunk before, only slightly tipsy. I went to college for graphic design for a couple semesters, but ended up changing to health information management. I do this photography gig on the "side" but actually it's my second job (soon to be first), and it's my passion. Jesus & prayers are a BIG thing in my life. I am sucker for all music genre's but the one I most drawn to is Indie alternative/pop. I also am a sweater wearing, knee high wool socks, leggings girl. Fall is my jam. Winter sucks. Spring is okay. I freaking HATE tornadoes. & Summer is good. Mostly, I am awkward, but that's okay. I think I own it very well. LOL Well there you go.. that's a little introduction for you at 10pm at night. Not a weird time to post at all... said no one ever. Kids are asleep so I took the opportunity and ran with it. Dads really are the best. My kids love dad time. that means playing and running through the house like crazies. but they are my crazy people & I'd say those are the best moments for me. Just watching my babies play with their dad all evening after he gets home from work. It really is the best feeling & I am so thankful every day to be able to experience those moments. So remember, dads are freaking awesome.

I know it's a little late, but I am so excited to share these two with you! It had been awhile since I have photographed a senior session, so I was super excited for their session. And I had a double senior session with this brother & sister! we had the best time! & they did super awesome!

I've been really slacking on sharing on social media, but as you all know, life is crazy. I am going through some changes at my other job, and my kiddos need me. I have been booking full time sessions, but also having another full time job. It's really freaking hard. So, I will be backing off for the rest of the year on the number of sessions I take for right now, but I will still be taking a few more sessions for the rest of the year. I skipped out on Christmas minis last year because I had a baby, so I may be doing a couple days of those this year. & I will be sharing more on here of the beautiful people that I have been able to photograph over the last couple months. but I am going to leave you with the sweetest family! My husband said they probably thought I was crazy for driving 3 different spots in the same field, but you really have to be creative in Missouri if you want landscape. LOL & obviously, he doesn't see what I see.
