I love client selfies! I also love my curly girls! In the salon when I style curly hair I almost always let the hair air dry the last 10% or so. This prevents frizz and makes for better curls *most of the time. Here you see curls that are about 80% dry with the "gel cast" still intact. WHY?... Most curlies would agree they hate the feel of stiff curls from using gel, however that gel cast is what creates beautiful, defined curls. Once the hair is 100% dry you can SCRUNCH OUT THE CRUNCH to reveal SOFT perfect curls! She sent me a selfie of the finished product. What do you think?
