A PARTY FOR ASHLEY! Please join us Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the clubhouse as we have a THANK YOU AND BEST WISHES party for Ashley. Cake and light snacks will be provided. NOW HIRING! KCTA is now seeking an Assistant Manager for our crew. Job requirements:... *MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD *Basic mechanical skill required *Computer knowledge a must- excel, word, email, social media, website updates *Basic knowledge of shooting sports *Train employees on proper safety procedures and competition rules *Maintain grounds and clubhouse in suitable condition for presentation to public *Personable attitude, public relations *Able to provide shooting and safety instruction to beginners *20-25 hours per week indoor/outdoor and seasonal more hours in summer, fewer in winter. *Fill in for manager when they are not on site, and able to learn manager duties as employment progresses. *Reports directly to Manager *Hours are afternoons and weekends Apply Here: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLScSlf8nrH2t6slyE/viewform

We are always hiring score keepers! We can hire starting at 14 and it makes for a great high school job to make some extra money. Basic math skills are required and need to apply in person. Spring league sign ups are now available on the website. Tuesday night league starts on March 30th and runs through May 18 and Wednesday night league starts March 31st and runs though May 19!

We've made the decision to cancel leagues for Tuesday AND Wednesday again this week due to freezing temperatures. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope mother nature will start to cooperate! Watch the website for updated shooting schedules! We WILL be open from 4pm-9pm for component sales!

FROM THE BOARD - WE HAVE A NEW MANAGER! We are pleased to announce that starting February 15, 2021, Justin Hefner from Austin, Arkansas will take over as Manager at the KCTA. Justin obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship from Southern Arkansas University. He has been employed at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville, Arkansas since 2016 working in all areas of the business, from repairing Pat-Traps, setting targets, assisting new shooters, organizing tournaments, to working behind the counter. In addition, he has served as a trap mechanic at the Grand American for the last two years. Justin will be living in the apartment below the clubhouse and is anxious to meet all of you. Please welcome Justin to the KCTA!

KCTA SHELL SALES UPDATE JANUARY 20,2021 In order to keep ammunition available for our shooters, we are making a few changes to shell sales and trophies. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but feel this is the best option for our shooters and our club. Effective immediately: -Customers may purchase 1 box of shells with their purchase of a trap-skeet- or 5 stand round. Customers are required to purchase a round of targets if they wish to purchase a box of shell...s. No exceptions. Limit 1 case/10 rounds (or punch card) per customer. - Shells are no longer available to purchase in multiple case quantity, until further notice. - Shells will not be offered as trophies for league, fun shoots, or any event held at KCTA. If you have shell trophies from previous events, we will be paying those out at $6/box as is custom for our cash out option. As ammunition becomes more readily available, we will adjust these changes as necessary. Until that time, we are focused on keeping ammunition available for customers using our facility. A Message from the KCTA Board of Directors: Ashley Pratt, KCTA Manager, has notified the Board of Directors of her resignation and February 16, 2021 will be her last day. We regret seeing Ashley leave but she wants to pursue other opportunities. We appreciate all Ashley has done for the KCTA since taking over and we wish her the best in her future endeavors. The Board is already in the process of hiring a new manager. In the meantime, we are open our normal business hours and it will be business as usual. We are looking forward to 2021 and hopefully a more "normal" year, unlike 2020. As always, meeting the needs of our valued customers is our highest priority.
