Please read, share, and spread the word on this crazy idea I had and have decided to put into motion. This Project is simple. Those who are thankful and able ...to give, do so. Those who need help, just ask. This season you may have a billion worries. Let us take care of your Thanksgiving dinner groceries. Do you know of a family in need, a single mom or dad who could use that one task of Thanksgiving dinner odds and ends taken care of? Are you a struggling artist, restaurant staff, who doesn’t know how you will make ends meet this season and could use some cheer? We are thankful for you and we want to provide you with your Thanksgiving Dinner groceries sponsored by your Kansas City family. We at Kansas City Realty have agreed to sponsor three families with this crazy idea I had. I decided I would open it up to others if they wanted to also give and help organize. Basically, I thought, why limit the giving to us when this is when we need the most love and hope. The average cost for a family of 4 would be around $73. That includes the lowest service fee from Instacart since we are members with a 25% tip for our shopper. Below is how we plan on putting this plan into motion. 1). I will receive a family name (number of members), address, and contact info in need 2). I will get in contact with the family saying they are receiving a KC’s Thankful Dinner. 3). Order groceries through Instacart for no contact delivery asap. 4). Tip our shopper 25% because it is a thankless job and we are thankful. Each family (even if you are single and at home this Thanksgiving zooming with friends, we want to help) will receive the following. Turkey Canned green beans Mushroom soup Fried onions Bag of potatoes Butter 2% milk Box of stuffing Can of cranberries Sweet potatoes Gravy Rolls Pie ALL the money raised will be used to sponsor a dinner for Thanksgiving. If by chance there is money left over and no families left to fulfill on the list, the remainder of the money raised will go to Harvesters and I will be completely transparent throughout this process. We will try desperately to get all families covered but we can’t promise that we will. I will though reach out to families not sponsored to see how I can help on a smaller scale. Thank you for helping give back this Thanksgiving KC. I truly mean it.
