KcATC Staff Spotlight: Ron Johnson, Executive Director! Where are you from? I was born in St. Louis Missouri (I won’t say what year) How long have you worked for KcATC? Dr. Linda Heitzman-Powell and I co-founded the Center in 2003. So 17 years... What is your favorite place to travel, or most interesting place you've been to? I really love going to the mountains in Colorado and the National Parks in Utah (Zion and Bryce) What is something that you dislike that most people love? Cinnamon rolls and donuts If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? That is easyPizza If you could go back in time, what event or era would you travel to? I would love to be with Lewis and Clark and exploring America in its natural state. What is your favorite hobby? A tie between fishing and golfing What is something most people don't know about you? I am pretty good at woodworking and like to build projects (I don’t like to sand and stain them!) Anything else you would like our followers to know about you? How much I really appreciate the hard work that all the staff at KcATC/Astra perform on a daily basis! Providing the services we provide is incredibly difficult, yet at the same time incredibly important! We may not change the worldbut we are changing each kiddo’s world for the better every day and that is so rewarding! What are the top three things on your bucket list? I would like to play golf at Pebble Beach, I would like to travel to Germany and drive the Autobahn, I would like to fly fish in Alaska or British Columbia.
