16 years of being in this rewarding and fulfilling career! I'm forever thankful for my clients that have trusted their hair in my hands and all of the friendships we've formed along the way. So glad I chose this path. Time flies when you're having fun!

Hey everyone! I will be reopening next week with limited hours and a strict safety protocol, but I am so excited to see everyone again! Right now, I am working hard to reschedule first in the order of missed appointments, then everyone else that has messaged me to get in since quarantine started. If you texted or commented on any of my statuses, you are on my list :) Please be patient with me as this is a time consuming process! If you don't hear from me this week, I didn't f...orget about you and will be in touch ASAP! Unfortunately with school and summer camp/childcare canceled I am having to change my schedule around a bit so trying to configure everyone in this new normal takes awhile. Please go over the client guidelines posted before your appointment! At this time we will NOT be blow drying. If you don't want to leave wet, you may sit under a dryer chair. I also will NOT be doing any lip or chin waxing or beard services. We are requiring that you wear a mask at all times, if you don't have one I was able to get a few disposable- but please bring your own if you can! The whole salon experience will be a little different for awhile, but hopefully the safety measures will allow us to keep doing hair in these crazy times!

Hi friends! I have had a few clients reach out to me with hearing the OK to open salons on 5/4, but wanted to tell everyone, even with that, Shear Envy will not be opening until probably later May... Unfortunately, it is not as easy as Gov. Parson saying "Hey, you can open." There is a lot that has to go into opening again- getting protective supplies for us and clients, figuring out new rules that us and our clients will have to follow, and getting schedules aligned to keep ...the safe amount of people in the salon. Different city and county orders. Not to mention Missouri state boards hasn't even released anything yet! (It's going to be a whole new ball game when we get back behind the chair, and unlike my past 16 years doing hair!)... That being said, I know it's been rough waiting for your hair to be done! I want you to know that if you can't wait any longer, I am absolutely not offended at all if you are able to get in or choose to go to elsewhere that might be opening next week! I know everyone's situations with work and needing to go back out into society are different, and I respect and understand that! No hard feelings or guilt about it! <3 Just as I hope you respect my decision of not jumping straight back into the salon until I feel 100% safe and prepared to do so for you & yours, my family, and myself!
