First birds of the season....

Just a reminder, it is that time of year again. Everyone will be gearing up for the big Thanksgiving feasts. Well, here at Kabee's we too are getting ready for the holidays. I will be smoking up 12-14 pound turkeys once again for Thanksgiving as well as your favorites for Christmas. Turkeys will be smoked over cherry wood and will continue to be priced at $45 + tax. If you are interested in getting a turkey be sure to call me and get your name put on the list. 417-254-4384. I will be glad to cook one up for you!

Ok lunch in Cabool today, it’s ready!

OK. Rain is slowing down the smoking this morning. Finally got 5 of the 8 racks of spare ribs on to smoke just now after over an hour working on getting up to... temp. Was going to cook all 8 racks that I have prepared but opted out for only the 5 i have on order in order to save room to do the beans and the rest of the items for a party this afternoon. Guess I will cook the other three tomorrow. So if anyone out there wants a rack of spare ribs let me know. I'll have three tomorrow afternoon. See more

On Saturday 15 June I will be setting up at the Chamber grounds for the city wide yard sale. On the menu will be brisket, pulled pork and BBQ beans, Oh and I a...lmost forgot. I will also have 8 racks of St. Louis style ribs for sale. First come first served. Come out and see us and enjoy some BBQ while checking out the bargains at the swap meet/city yard sale. My oh my! These smoked turkey legs are looking pretty awesome! Still have a way to go yet. Don’t forget the Cabool garage sales and swap meet tomorrow!
