On 3/27/2021, thanks to an alert citizen who recognized Mr. Pettit from our Most Wanted post, Ozark County Sheriff's Deputy Seth Miller was dispatched to the Th...eodosia area where he was able locate Mr. Pettit and took him into custody without incident. Mr. Pettit is being held in the Ozark County Jail on a $3500 cash only bond. Deputy Brown and I went and gave the Dora High School Basketball Girls a big sendoff to the State Sectional game today. Since Deputy Brown turned the siren on I thought I would get in the action too. Good luck Dora Falcons on you Sectional game.

2021-02-02. The Ozark County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant in the Gainesville area. Marijuana, paraphernalia, and weighing scales were discovered during the search.

Just another day at the office. Love doing school checks. It is a lot of work but it is also a lot of fun.

Well today I got to meet Mr. Brody and play with him a little. See...Brody is 9 and has been diagnosed with brain cancer. I brought Brody one of my new challenge coins and some items from the West Plains Fire Department that were given to Deputy Brown for him. This was the highlight of my day today. #brodystrong

"We will FIND it" On 12-08-2020 Deputy Brown and K9 Rye, Deputy Smith, Deputy Urich and Deputy Ator along with Deputy Harley and his K9 partner Amigo with the Douglas County Shreiff's Department, went to an Ozark County address to execute search warrant for a wanted fugitive. The subject was not located at the residence, but a large amount of drugs and paraphernalia were. Three individuals were arrested and await charge...s being filed by the Prosecutor's Office. In case you are wondering where the money donated to the Ozark County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit goes... It goes to the continued training of K9 Rye and Deputy Brown, the care and upkeep of K9 Rye and all the equipment she uses. All these things allow her and Deputy Brown to be able to keep the community safe by getting drugs like these off the streets.

Had a great night at the Christmas parade in Gainesville tonight hanging with my people. I even showed off my skills of sounding like a siren.
