After eighteen days, the wrapping was removed and stitches taken out. Still have some swelling with numbness and pain in the index finger. The nasty lump is called a Schwannoma. I had to look that up. Haha! I'll be checking into hand therapy next. Definitely going to take the month of June to build strength, stamina and dexterity in this hand before going back to massage. And then, it will be a gentle process but I'm looking to the future and the big picture. Gotta do this right!
