New books this week at the library!

This week’s library raffle is a gorgeous handmade baby quilt and pillow. So warm and cozy with flannel backing and farm images. Comes with a John Deere fabric pillow. All made and donated by Kim Jones. Come buy a chance at the library - $1. Each or 6 for $5. Raffle ends 5/3/21. If you can’t get by the library during regular hours drop $, your name and phone number in an envelope in the book drop and we will be sure your tickets get in the drawing. Last weeks winner was Peggy Briscoe.

Next Library Raffle items are up. Ready for spring - a beautiful flower garden stake for your garden along with a handmade wooden birdhouse. Tickets are $1. Each or 6 for $5. Donors are Elsberry Study Club and Northeastern Correctional in Bowling Green. Winner of the gift certificates was Marijo Lagemann.

This week’s raffle item at the Library is just perfect: Three $15 gift certificates - one each for Bernie’s, Cadillac Bill’s and Pickle Barrel. Everybody needs lunch and this has the additional benefit of helping your Library! $1. Each or 6 for $5. This item is donated by Marcia Hill. Raffle runs from 3/22-4/5. New this week, come check them out.

Exciting new offering at the Library! The Missouri Department of Conservation has given the library fabulous fishing poles for public loan! The poles can be checked out like a book using your library card for 10 day periods. Their desire is to promote the sport of fishing to all Missouri residents. We have 4 poles to loan.

The Library is re-opening!!!!! Beginning March 1st we will be open normal hours. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1-5 Tuesday and Thursday 12-7 Saturday 9-1.... Masks required.

Roads are OK, we will be open for curbside pickup today from 3-6pm. AND a big thanks to Joe Briscoe who shoveled all the front walkway so you can get in safely. We have the best patrons.
