Hello all! I hope this email finds you healthy and blessed beyond measure! I wanted to send an update on the status of the Section Women's Events for the remainder of the year. We have made the hard decision to cancel the Compelled by Compassion Rally and the Senior Minister's Appreciation Event. This was not an easy decision, but I believe it is the right thing to do. ... However, we still want to bless and give honor to the wonderful men and women of our section who are retired or retirement age. Here's how we plan to do that! 1. We are asking that every church send an offering designated for the senior ministers offering. This offering is used to send a monetary gift to all of our retirement aged ministers/missionaries/widows/widowers. 2. Please help us announce this to your churches. Let your pastor know! 3. If you have a retirement aged pastor or a retired pastor/missionary in your church, please send me their information. We plan to send them a Christmas card with a Wal Mart gift card. We don't want to miss anyone! 4. It would be awesome if the offerings could get to us by November 15. I am available to pick them up, as well. During this time of uncertainty, it is easy to begin to focus on what we CANNOT do. I challenge you to take a hard look at the things that you CAN do during this season that is so restrictive. There is so much to be done for the Kingdom! We will have to be led more than ever by the Holy Spirit ... ask Him today what you can do!
