Tips for your furnace during this cold weather. > Change your furnace filter! > Check your batteries in your thermostat. Expired battiers will cause the stat to malfunction. > Do Not place stuff against or around your furnace! Please allow adequate space around it. > If you use propane check how much you have left if it gets too low or none at all your furnace will not work.... > If you have a heat pump you may want to switch your stat to Auxiliary Heat (AUX) or Emergency Heat, when it gets this cold for better comfort. Note: During this EXTREME COLD your furnace will have long run time. If you are concerned about your utility bill lower the thermostat by 2 degrees this will help some.
