I’m sure a lot of people have heard a lot of things about me... Most of it is true; unfortunately. I was born into a world of extremes...... Chaos at every turn... I had to burn out the old, fake me and find the authentic version of myself. I never was truly afforded the opportunity to find myself before the evil of the world gave me wounds that remained open for decades and then took over ten years to heal. I lost myself and thus lost most of you. There are some relationships that I will never be able to heal and some I don’t ever want again. Whoever you think I am, you should think again; but hopefully after you see me and get an opportunity to witness who I have become; you may, then... think better of me. You can’t help heal the world, if you can’t heal yourself. When you heal yourself, it’s devastating how mentally-ill the world around you becomes; the same world that was telling you how sick you were, becomes toxic to you. As I turn 47 today, I celebrate achieving my lifelong goal of building my own recording studio; and subsequently twelve years post alcohol. Check out what has been cooking behind the scenes and try to imagine what’s happening now and what is going to happen in the future here. Be the change you want to see and belief is the enemy of knowing. I love you all and I pray every day for the healing of this place we call earth and these people here who are all our brothers and sisters. Thank you to my hero and wife Sheena, who has survived this entire life transformation process with me. This amazing woman has been the mirror I needed to help me see what needed to change and the person on her knees with me, picking up the pieces every time I broke the mirror. #InMemoryOfScottFord #SFB -I’m relieved to see this; grateful to Fox 4 KC for putting the message out there... he was a tremendously powerful soul.

A few months ago we had an impromptu SFB reunion where 3/4ths of the band sat in with another band and rocked a couple of Scott Ford songs... this would be the last time I played music with this mountain of a man. We went back to the house, picked some songs on the back porch and talked about the possibilities. What a great friendship. ... This is unexpectedly difficult. I catch myself, I keep uttering things like... man... no... ah man... lots of really deep sighs. Heavy. Lots of tears. See more
