Excited to share a short version of a drone video to document landfill closure construction. Jett Environmental Consulting captured video during a few months of the project, which consisted of capping approximately 15 acres of the landfill utilizing the ClosureTurf system in lieu of a traditional soil closure. This 4 component system consisted of a layer of soil, LLDPE liner, synthetic turf, and a specified sand infill. Crews all did an amazing job! Great turnout today for the Missouri Waste Control Coalition - MWCC Conference 4-Person Golf Team Tournament! Enjoyed being the Chairman again this year of this kick off event, which raises money for numerous scholarships for students pursuing environmental science related degrees at Missouri universities. Looking forward to seeing everyone at tonight’s reception followed by 2 days of great content at Margaritaville Lake Resort (formerly Tan-Tara-A), Osage Beach, MO.
