Reminder.... Our bake sale is next Friday April 23rd 9am-3pm. All proceeds will go to the Henry Counry Memory Fund for the Big Purple Party walk on May 1st. We are looking for yummy baked good donations, they can be brought to Jefferson Gardens the day before or day of the sale. Stop on by that day to indulge your sweet tooth.
Today we had our first church service in over a year! It was nice to have Pastor Bill back preaching from God's word.

Our cucumbers got to big for the little starter tray. We replanted them today.

It was a Christmas Cookie type of day! They turned out amazing!!
Today we found out who was Naughty and who was Nice this year. Who will get the candy and who will get the coal??
A huge thank you to the VFW and the Clinton Cool Cats 4 H Club for the gifts for our veterans. They were very appreciated and brought big simles!!
Today was Farm Day. We enjoyed the Farmers Market this afternoon. There were so many fruits and treats to choose from.
Today was pajama day. Our staff had a "relaxing" day!!
We had our Christmas Party today. After singing Christmas carols, it was present time! Each staff member adopted a resident or two to shop for. They loved it. So many smiles and laughs. Then we had very yummy Christmas lunch with ham, mashed potatoes, and green beans with fruitcake or pecan pie for dessert. We wish all of our friends and families a very Merry Christmas!!!
A little window visit always warms our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who came out to trick or treat with us. We had an amazing time and there were so many smiles!!

Tomorrow is Halloween!! Our windows are decorated, our candy buckets are full. We are all excited to see all the kids in there costumes tomorrow evening from 5:30 to 7pm for our social distance trick or treating!!
Nothing like relaxing on a Sarurday afternoon with a good movie. We are watching "White Christmas" today.
We hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
We had our bingo store this morning. They had the chance to spend their bingo bucks on all sorts of items. We had lots of big smiles!!

Today we made pretzel sticks to pass out to the staff's children. We had a good time and they were very happy to have the chance to give back to our hard working staff. Of course they also had to have a bite too! Tonight is movie night. We will be watching Hocas Pocas and eating popcorn!!
We had a fun afternoon working on our hat craft! They turned out great!!

Our winner was announced today. Jo Ann guessed 465 candies and there were 467! Great job Jo Ann.

We laughed our way through pumpkin bowling this afternoon. Then everyone dug through a tub of corn to find a prize.
We worked our brains this morning playing Hangman. We have more fun set up for this afternoon...stay tuned!
We had lots of fun today carving and painting pumpkins. Both the residents and staff got involved. Helen helped afterwards to help sort out the seeds so we can roast them tomorrow.
