Two JCPC members were published in "The Rectrix" newsletter produced by the Missouri River Bird Observatory, as part of the group's 2020 photography contest: Scott Villmer and Julie Brown Patton. This year, MRBO staffers called for certain bird categories in the "Hope is the Thing With Feathers" fifth annual contest. MRBO is a nonprofit organization for the conservation of Missouri's birds. The staff is headquartered in Arrow Rock, Mo.
