MUSICIANS! We are gearing up for fall semester, and want to keep our students and community members as safe as possible. Here are some changes being made for FALL 2020: - There are no live concerts planned for Fall 2020. We will be recording ensembles and creating video performances for the public to enjoy via social media. - Community Choir and Large Jazz Ensemble are not meeting this semester. ... - Wind Ensemble will be split into small chamber groups for appropriate social distancing. Contact Elke Overton for more information at [email protected] - Small Jazz Combos are meeting. Auditions for both combos will be Monday, August 17 at 3:30 in FA 114. Rehearsals are as follows: Section 1 (beg-interm) with Dustin Shrum on Mondays at 3:30 Section 2 (interm-adv) with Joel Vanderheyden on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00. Contact Joel Vanderheyden at [email protected] for more info. - Concert Chorale and Chamber Choir will be rehearsing with masks on, socially distanced in the Fine Arts Theatre audience seats.
