Hi all! Balance your energy with yoga tonight! If you feel wiped out like I did last night after hosting two bonfire parties over the weekend (don't worry very small and social distantace/ masks) Yoga will help unwind you and reset and recharge your system. If you are really energized and happy today, yoga can help spread that positive vibration into your body and into your brain.... Tonight is part of a Monday night series and you are invited, welcome and encouraged to join us/drop in for individual classes. 1. Mondays : 5:30-6:45 pm Today's theme is : "Remembering" in honor of All Souls Day. Remember as in re-join with your inner center and re-join with the parts of your body/ mind/ heart that are more under the surface. Class includes variations of standing poses, deeper forward folds, shoulder stand, therapeutic release of back/ spine muscles. Please have an old tennis ball or ball like that around. It will be at Shaw Nature Reserve if I can reserve space. If not, Rockwood Reservation. I will confirm location before 5:30 pm this evening. 4. I'm currently excited about my new offering to bring the healing power nature to others. Join me for covid safe guided yoga and meditation hikes every Tuesday... morning 9-11. E-mail or message me for details for location and details. We are on for a local hike tomorrow in Forest Park. We will explore local trails. No yoga experience required, only an interest in quiet reflection while in nature. We will stay for optional lunch or snack for community connection. See more

I am glad to offer you a slower class tomorrow. 9:00 am Saturday October 3rd. It will be a recovery and meditation yoga class. Your entire body, including all the organs and glands benefit greatly when your brain calms. This calm state ( the parasympathetic state) is said to be the state from which both the reduction of pain and stress take place. Please call me before 7:30 am for the zoom link if you do not have it. We will enjoy: Stretches / yoga poses for release of l...egs, hips and and sides, Seated yoga poses and twists, trigger point work with balls, blocks and blankets, restorative yoga with props and wall, breathing ( pranayama), and mediation. Enjoy opening to your weekend with a clearing of your brain and body. You probably will feel energized and refreshed in a sustainable way. We will also use props to find trigger points ( muscular and fascial adhesions ). If you have an old tennis ball or a (dog toy ball ?) ball like that can you also please have that. Props: blankets and extra blankets or bolsters available, strap or belt, block, small squishy ball or ball or yarn or wound up socks, hand towel for eyes.

Join us for standing poses and pranayama! Hi all, Tomorrow ( Thursday May 7th) l streaming class is... 9:30- 10:30 active yoga and 10:30-11am pranayama, meditation and savansana (relaxation). I will teach (and practice some with you) a steady mix of standing yoga poses with form and with feeling. Following the physical practice I will teach one or two pranayama practices. Pranayama is one of the most important and beneficial yoga practices as it moves vital energy (called prana and other names like prana-shakti,) deeply into and through the body and assists your body in immunity, energy/endurance, emotional awareness, mental clarity, and calm. Payment is still donation and even small amounts are appreciated. Venmo or PayPal are welcome. I will send out more details about the May schedule and suggested payment for the month today or tomorrow. I also will teach live stream: Saturday May 9th 9-10:15 am- Intermediate/ experienced flow including some inversions and pranayama. Saturday May 9th: 11-12 : Basic.
