It’s hard to believe in 2 weeks Jake would be turning 27! This year in honor of his birthday, we’ve put together an Amazon wishlist with items he enjoyed to support various Friends of Kids with Cancer programs, including the Jake’s Crew iPad Program, and kids just like him. Today iPad #318 was delivered to this excited young man during his treatment! We know we don’t get to share as many updates due to COVID protocols and their impacts on deliveries, but these packages make such a difference during these extended time of isolation. With the prevalence of COVID, we are relying on the social workers and child life staff to deliver the packages to the patients instead of the Jake’s Crew & Friends of Kids with Cancer team. While this may result in delays for letting everyone know about deliveries, it doesn’t change the excitement from the recipients! Over the past few weeks, iPads #301, #302, & #303 (pictured above) were given out! We can’t thank the medical staff at our hospitals enough for helping with these deliveries and all of our donors for making them possible!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated, shared, and supported our online silent auction and raffle event over this past week! All winners have been notified and we will coordinate contactless delivery this weekend. We truly appreciate the support and look forward to sharing photos of some very excited recipients over the year!
