Freeman Financial & Insurance and KWIX/KRES radio would like to congratulate Kate Hawkins and Tierra Wood as being named Player of the Game. Macon senior Kate Hawkins scored a game-high 22 points in a 57-33 victory on February 19th. The Tigerettes improved to 21-1 and 6-0 in the CCC. And Macon senior Tierra Wood scored a game-high 12 points to lead Macon past Hallsville in the district championship game on March 5th. Great job, Kate and Tierra!!

Blair Oaks pitcher Alexis Findley went the full seven innings striking out eight and walking two while scattering six hits in a 4-0 shutout victory over Centralia. Good job, Alexis!

Freeman Financial & Insurance and KWIX/KRES radio would like to congratulate Preston Stewart as being named Player of the Game. Macon’s Preston Stewart had two interceptions with one returned 25 yards for a touchdown. Stewart also had seven carries for 60 yards in Macon’s 50-0 win. Great game, Preston!

Freeman Financial & Insurance and KWIX/KRES radio would like to congratulate Derieus Wallace as being named Player of the Game. Moberly sophomore Derieus Wallace recovered a fumble that set up a Spartan touchdown and recorded a career-high 4 catches for 46 yards in Moberly’s 48-13 defeat to Hannibal. Good job, Derieus!

Chris Coonce scored both goals for Moberly, including the winner in double overtime to give the Spartans a 2-1 win over Mexico and send them to the district championship game. Good game, Chris!

Moberly senior Devin DeWolfe provided a career game with three receptions for 62 yards and one touchdown. Moberly defeated rival Mexico 28-21 to win the NCMC championship. Good game, Devin!
