JMS trivia fest was held on Thursday, March 22nd. The JMS academic team placed 3rd. Great Job-Congrats!

JMS shoe drive continues throughout the month of March- sponsored by STUCO. So far Mrs. Ford's class is in the lead with 96 pairs of shoes!

Believe it or not, 4th quarter begins tomorrow. Also, school will be in session this Friday.

PTO will be selling Tervis Tumblers until Monday, February 27. Great gift idea- thanks for considering.

Congrats to Mr. Kluesner's advisory. They are the grand champions of the inaugural advisory dodge ball tournament.

Say Cheese! Spring pictures Wednesday a.m. at JMS. Pictures will be taken by Cheekwood. No payment needed up front. Proofs will be sent back if you want to purchase pictures.

2/9/2012- First Privileged Day at JMS took place. Students that had a 73% or above in all classes and no discipline referrals for the month had some "free time" during advisory, which included an electronics area, dodgeball tournament, and time in the library. Over 230 7th grade students took part in this.

JMS Thrive group helped collect jeans for homeless shelters as part of the "Teens for Jeans" initiative. District wide 2,230 pairs of jeans were collected. Thanks to Mrs. Bullard for helping organize this at JMS.

Special thanks to Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Shelton for helping students create a mural for Black History Month. Great job!
