We received a donation of a framed Declaration of Independence as well as Pledge of Allegiance from Retiring Sheriff Darin Shell. What an honor for Jackson Medical Center. We would like to thank Darin for his service and continued patriotism!

We are still continuing to practice safety here at Jackson Medical Center. This is our separated area for patients who are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to CoVid 19, they are seen one at a time in this room being heavily sanitized between patients and are being distanced from each other. Our RN Joel and Dr. Pewitt are practicing safety measures as well, as you can see while seeing patients. Come see us for all of your medical needs. We will continue to be operational through the pandemic!

Attn: Regarding the Recent Statewide Stay at Home Order announced to begin today. This does not stop Healthcare. At Jackson Medical Center we will continue to be open during normal business hours to meet your healthcare needs. We are however, operating slightly different to accommodate social distancing and health needs. ... All of our patients who are positive for symptoms of or exposure to COVID 19 are seen in a separate part of the office and separated from our Physician by a glass partition. All of our other patients are being met in the parking lot to receive a number and will be asked to wait in their cars until their number is up and new room becomes properly sanitized. We do not have patients in our waiting room at this time. You will note our staff is wearing masks and gloves to protect themselves and other patients as well. We accept United Healthcare! If you are someone who lost their Primary Care Provider and are looking for a new one, we are here for you. Our medical office is individually owned and our Physician is taking new patients. Just call during our normal business hours and we will be happy to take your information!

Attn Patients: Jackson Medical Center is currently open. Our staff is working hard to do our part to keep our patients separated, staff safe and continue to give care to those in need. We are taking CoVid 19 seriously therefore our process is a bit different at this time. Should you come to be seen at Jackson Medical Center, someone will meet you at the door for a few questions in order to help separate our sick patients from our well patients. Patients are asked to sit in ...their car until they are retrieved for their appointment. If a patient has symptoms or has been exposed to the virus they will immediately be taken to a different isolated area of our building. This allows us to alleviate having our patients in groups in the waiting room and gives us time to sanitize rooms and door handles before the next patient even enters either part of the building.
