As landscaping services don’t currently fall under the guidelines for essential buisness we will be postponing all our landscape jobs. We will continue to answer all phone calls and emails and provide immediate service for trees that are posing a threat to people’s essential way of life. We hope all of our valued customers and friends stay healthy and safe during this time and we ask that if there is any way we can be of assistance to please reach out to us.

We’ve had several requests for our tree risk Assessment services over the last few days. This is a great way to stay up to date on the health and needs of your trees and can play a vital role in risk mitigation decisions. Give us a call to talk with a ISA certified arborist about your tree care needs.

While many buisness and schools are being shut down and people are having to stay home during this time. We’d like to remind everyone of the oak wilt quarantine that gets over looked by many every year which leads to many people calling every year with a sick tree we can’t do anything to save. Oaks trimmed between mid March and mid June are at a much higher risk for contracting oak wilt than those trimmed after the beetles that spread the disease have become less active. You can find out more online or by contacting A arborist.

DONT DO THIS While the current weather doesn’t make you want to go work in the yard many people will be heading out to freshen up their landscape this weekend. Don’t forget too much of A good thing can be a bad thing. Every year we have to do treatments to remove stem girdling roots from trees caused by over mulching. Don’t add more than about 2 inches of mulch around your tree and not up the trunk. Or if you prefer to skip the messy part Give us a call and we’ll take care of it for you.
