Happy New Year from Isabel’s House!

As 2020 comes to a close, we’ll have a party today for the kiddos and watch some movies! Tomorrow we’ll be relaxing at the House, and the kiddos can stay in their pajamas all day if they’d like to! We hope you have a safe and fun evening celebrating.

It’s our last #WishListWednesday of the year, and in true 2020 fashion we’re in need of disinfectant wipes! Also needed are hypoallergenic soap and lotion. If you’re able to help with any of these needs, we’re accepting donations by mail and from 10 am to 1 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 2750 W. Bennett Ave., Springfield, MO 65802. Due to COVID, we’ve scheduled these hours so that we can greet you and accept your donations. If you have a donation and aren’t able to come during these times, please contact us first. Each light on Isabel's Tree means another child reading and playing, eating a hot meal, or resting safely in bed. Each bulb is a gift of hope for parents and kiddos when they need it most. We want to send out a special thank you to our Angels in Waiting volunteers who are supporting our kiddos by serving as holiday gift buyers for the children and families who we have at Isabel’s House in the days leading up to Christmas!

Verona Elementary participated in socktober and met their goal of donating 100 pairs of socks!!!

Our kiddos are hard at work with virtual learning!

Last week the kiddos made monsters for Halloween to work on fine motor skills! They traced their hands and used those as the monsters' hands, and then they got to draw their monster however they wanted. Super fun!
