POSITION SUMMARY:... Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist This position will serve as the subject matter expert to fully support and troubleshoot all aspects of our global Learning Management System. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: day to day LMS support, governance, training assignments, documentation, administration, training and reporting while providing excellent customer service. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support: Serve as the LMS Subject Matter Expert and first level support for LMS system administrators and second level support for end users. Manage support tickets by creating, closing, tracking and escalating tickets as necessary. Troubleshoot learner access issues. Manage publication of online content. Troubleshoot online content issues and provide consulting as needed. Coordinate and support the implementation of new LMS functionality. LMS Administration/Governance: Work with owners of training to fully understand the needed assignment of learning objects to learners and utilize knowledge of the LMS and SAP Organization Management structure to correctly assign training requirements. Ensure consistent use of global naming conventions and monitor data through regular reporting to ensure compliance by all Client administrators. Manage standard shared groups Training: Document, communicate, and train departmental learning administers on new enhancements and/or changes to the system. Reporting: Provide overall reporting support. Generate and distribute custom reports as needed. Provide assistance with Regulatory Audit Reporting when required. Other Projects: Participate in system testing when necessary. Explore and identify untapped functionality within the LMS to provide continues process improvement that will fully maximize the LMS system for Client Other miscellaneous duties as required. Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Experience (Years/Type): 3+ years’ experience in enterprise-wide LMS support and processes (CSOD preferred) 1+ years’ General knowledge of an SAP Employee Data Management 1+ years’ Working knowledge of eLearning software (e.g. Storyline, Articulate), and SCORM publishing. Skills: Advanced ability to work with MS Excel (MS Access experience preferred). Ability to build productive working relationships across departments. Ability to successfully communicate to multiple levels of technical understanding.
