Shooting the MBH 450 State Championship tonight at the range.

We have room for 8 more shooters tomorrow at 5pm for the MBH 450 State Championship. You must be a NFAA/MBH member to shoot. $35.

We are hoping to have the Kansas City ShootOut ProAm registration website ready by Wednesday. Due to the holidays I am waiting for the company to make the changes we needed. We will have a line on Friday night at 6:00pm. Saturday is 8am, 11:30, 3pm and 6:30. ... We can only had 20 shooters at 20 yards per line and 4 Cubs per line. Shooters will have to limit the number of spectators because of our limit of people in the building at a time. Everyone in the building will have to wear a mask at all times except when shooting. You can’t access the building until 30 minutes before your line time. We have to clean between lines and limit the amount of people in the building. There will be no access for practice because of this. You will get the standard 2 practice ends at the start of shooting. I post the updated flyer here later today. Any questions please let me know.

Our indoor leagues start tomorrow night and Wednesday night. Building opens at 6:30pm for practice and leagues start at 7pm. Members are $7 a week. If you are not a member but would like to come in and practice it's $10 a night. Memberships: Single: $56 which is thru 12/31/2021 or $48 if joining in January 2021. Family: $84 which is thru 12/31/2021 or $72 if joining in January 2021. Any questions, please ask or come in and talk to the members.

We are one of the Missouri locations for Indoor Nationals on December 11-13. We will have 3 lines on Saturday plus one line for the MBH 450 State Shoot. We will have 2 lines on Sunday. R.I.P. Marta Zucca. Marta battled cancer for many years. She was a past member of our club and Missouri Bow Hunters. Besides shooting her bow and going hunting she loved to ride her horses. The archery community will miss her.

We lost another MBH member. The 3rd one in the last 2 months. Rip Butch Herold. Say hi to my grandparents.

We were planning to have an outdoor work party this Saturday at the range but due to the stay at home order we had to cancel. The JCP&R is not open to sell range passes nor do they have resources to help us keep the range going so the outdoor range at Landahl Park will not be opening until later. The park has a date of May 15th but they told us they would let us know. If someone is in that area and sees someone vandalizing the range, please contact me or a park ranger. Thanks for your help.

From the President: The last couple of years MBH has help sponsor the S3DA Tournament at Linn. This year S3DA is telling us they have a record number of partic...ipants (90) this year. So, we have purchased 5 extra bales for Friday nights practice. This will allow us to have open practice from 5 to 6 and from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The S3DA tournament will start at 6:30 which will require 23 bales for their tournament, limiting the number of bales for open practice after 6:30. Due to the limited number of bales I am suspending the $5 practice fee. Please spread the news to anyone who doesn't have Facebook or the internet. Also, all bales have now been claimed. If you are on the waiting list, the secretary will contact you if you are one of the lucky ones. Hope to see a lot of MBH members there this weekend.
