Pat Deeter is the featured artist for March at Art Squared Gallery, 111 N Main St, Indep MO. Pat loves Watercolor, oils and many other media. She is also a member of Independence Art Association. Come by the gallery to see and purchase great art!!!
Thank you Carlos Benson and David Alston for donating artwork for a silent auction at the 6th Annual Mardi Gras event hosted by the Rotary Club of Independence! This Gala Fundraiser will be held at the Arrowhead Stadium North Club on February 22, 2020. The beneficiary for funds raised is the Independence Rotary Scholarship program which will partner with the KC Scholarship to provide college scholarships to students at all four Independence high schools - William Chrisman, Truman, Van Horn, and Fort Osage.

The Robert E. Tindall Show will run from today, January 7th through March 31st! Original Tindall paintings will be on display from January-February 29th. Come wander through the show, enjoy his many different styles and media's. Children will have an opportunity to color some images from 2 of Tindall's paintings that have been printed for this purpose. You can also purchase giclees, prints and note cards which are from several Tindall originals. All money's from these sales goes to our Tindall Scholarship which is set up to help young local Artists who are pursuing an art education.

Hey! Just a heads up if you missed out on being a part of our unveiling of the Mark Hope Gallery you can now take part in our small painting show! Artists can have up to three rods to show their small paintings at $10 per rod. Each rod can hold up to three small paintings with paintings being no bigger than 12"x12". Delivery of submissions will be accepted at the DAV on November 3rd from 11-6PM. Please submit applications and fees to Pat Deeter. Ask for more details! Our monthly meeting is coming! This coming Tuesday at 7PM at the DAV we will not only be discussing events we want to participate in for the rest of the year but also creating greeting cards. Artists will be creating greeting cards for the holidays and at the end of the meeting we will vote on "the best card" and have it made into prints for the Art Squared Gallery. Can't wait to see everyone there!
