A great thought from one of our hallway bulletin boards as we begin this new year. May we always be reminded that we can be FEARLESS as we face the future because we are securely in God’s Hands!

The children in our Infant & Toddler Program had chapel yesterday! Mr. Hopfensperger came down to visit and talked about how God created the world. We’re looking forward to spending time together in these weekly chapels.

Our students and teachers had some fun decorating their classroom doors these past few weeks . . . another way to celebrate this season. While these bring a smile to our face, the true meaning of Christmas warms our hearts as we wait for the coming Savior! Merry Christmas!

Our Infant & Toddler students celebrated today with a pajama day! They all look so cozy!

Our Toddler 2 class had a fun morning of movement; 'Going on a bear hunt' and 'Freeze dance' or as our twos say "Feeze dance!!" Happy Tuesday everyone!

The 5th grade students have been learning to play songs on the glockenspiel during the last several weeks. Here’s a clip of them playing a Christmas favorite, Carol of the Bells!

Larry the Scarecrow is greeting students at recess! This week, each class will be creating a scarecrow and then displaying it for all to see. We can’t wait to see the class creations!

Our infants & toddlers have been having lots of fun this week! What a blessing these little ones are to us!

Great volleyball game tonight against New Haven- also a little recognition for our last volleyball game with the 8th grade girls!

Preschool and PreKindergarten students had a guest speaker this week to talk about fire safety. Mr. Blocker wore his full uniform for the children to see and talked about his fire safety equipment!

Another great race for cross country yesterday! Ryder Loeb received 1 st place and Ben Loesing received 2nd place. Aiden Hopfensperger received 8th place! Hope Jett received 5th place and Sophia Otten 9th. ... Great job to these runners! See more

Our Cross Country team ran their first meet on Saturday against 80 other students from area Lutheran schools. The boys team and the girls team each placed 4th overall and we had two students medal in the top ten! Way to go, Crusaders!

Amazing day today for cross country! Everyone ran great and we had 2 medals for Ben Loesing and Hope Jett! Congratulations! We also placed 4 overall as a team!

Earlier this week, the 5th grade students got to enjoy the warm weather while learning the game Eagle’s Nest during PE class with Mr. Hallien!

Today was Hawaiian / Beach Day at ILS! Miss Overbeck is seen here being awarded the Spirit Stick which recognized her great school spirit-congratulations!

Toddler 1 aide will work approximately 25 hours per week (1-6pm). Toddler 2 aide will work approximately 27 hours per week (11:30-5) Applicant will be responsible for the care and safety of our Toddler 1 & Toddler 2 students. This includes changing diapers, feedings, and playing with students. Applicant must be able to lift 25+ pounds. Benefits included are retirement and disability (no Healthcare at this time).
