"iDea Designs"

I am happy to say that we are progressing! Cappy Harris Realty will soon have a new office in Pea Ridge. We have had a few obstacles working through the pandemic. There have been many design changes due to the limited availability of products. We have accepted the challenge and will overcome. I can't wait for it all come together! Here is just a peek at what's happening behind the scenes. The nitty gritty. The not so pretty parts. From paint to flooring to desk assembly (a lot of desks) to painting cabinets.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to design a commercial office space! These are a few ideas I'm kicking around. I would love for this space to be a collaboration of modern meets nature, with bold pops of color. Working with grays can be a little tricky. Always looking at the undertones. While one gray can be cool with blue/green tones, another can be warm with yellow and brown undertones. They just don't like to play well together. But...I do love a challenge!

Time to makeover my mudroom lockers and laundry. I just realized that we moved into this house when it was new in 2001. The lockers had a second coat of paint years ago, but after 6 kids and everyday life they have seen better days. In fact, nothing has been updated in my mud/laundry for way too long! Thank God they were well constructed. C & C Cabinets do great work! Now lets see how big of a difference an update will make. I'll keep you posted as it progresses. ... One of my favorite projects! It's amazing how you can take a long, and I mean long (12.5 ft.) boring wall and turn it into an art feature. My client/Sister had recently had her old oak kitchen cabinets painted and refreshed by Charlie Fratus with Old Soul Renovations. They did an amazing job transforming her kitchen! Her long entry wall is right by the kitchen and just needed a little love to bring it all together. That's when we decided to do a batten feature wall. The wa...ll isn't completely finished in these photos. She had a pesky doorbell that we had to work around. We will paint the doorbell cover to match the wall and pray it blends in.
