Easter Sunday. The foundation of our faith. The great separator of all faiths. Hard to believe that it is Easter Sunday. Maybe we would prefer Resurrection Sunday! We serve a living SaviorJesus Christ. Reflect on the lyrics of the Christian song, Living Hope, by Phil Wickham:... Then came the morning that sealed the promise Your buried body began to breathe Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion Declared the grave has no claim on me Jesus, Yours is the victory, whoa! He is THE REASON we hope in salvation and resurrection. It took God Himself to be the adequate holy sacrifice to save us from our sins. Scripture is clear Jesus died for our sins and was raised on the third daythus proving that death and the grave was conquered, providing us our Living Hope!

We will be following the recommendations of our city leaders and evaluate the status of COVID-19 as time progresses. Immanuel Baptist Church will be canceling services this Sunday as well as Winnies party per her family. We want to avoid any virus risks to our congregation. Please stay safe and pray for those who are sick and in need.
