COVID-19 Precautions Dear Clients and Friends, In order to formulate my own business response to the Corona Virus crisis, I have been monitoring updates from the WHO, CDC, state and county health departments, and industry leaders. The news and recommendations are evolving on a daily basis. Among my fellow CPAs, EAs, and other tax professionals, opinions are split. Some have already closed offices to all face-to-face appointments; others don’t see any reason to alter their ...process in any way. In light of yesterday’s declarations of a national and Missouri state of emergency, I believe now is the time to communicate with you regarding how I am moving forward. As of today, I am not cancelling appointments. But this will be a day by day decision. In the interest of safety and health for clients and my own family, I am taking the following precautions: Hand sanitizer is available at the door. Please use as you come in and as you go out. Between each client, door handles, desk, and touched surfaces are disinfected. As always, I work by appointment only. I will increase time between appointments to allow time to sanitize surfaces between clients. If there is a car in the driveway when you arrive, please stay in your car until that client leaves. Please consider using the secure portal available on my website. I can prepare your return, and we can take care of questions by telephone or email.
