Neck Pain can be an annoyance, but it can also be devastating. Not only that, it can include both shoulder and jaw pain as well. Regardless, we look at creating balance, symmetry, and stability thoughout the entire system. Doing so reduces pain and keeps it away at the shoulder, neck, and jaw. The system makes it easy for me to deliver, and the TeleCare Rx software makes it easy for the patient to remember how to heal as quickly as possible.... Click the BOOK NOW button to find relief. Yes, its a thing. In fact, kids respond very quickly to chiropractic care. But what do we treat? Granted there are many doctors out their that treat a wide variety of problems afflicting kids. We focus on active kids who want to play without pain and perform at a high level.... Playing multiple sports growing up, I know the many problems facing a developing athlete. It's one of my passions to help kids overcome problems that had no real solutions when I was growing up. Knee pain, Heel Pain, Back Pain, and the list goes on where just thrown into the "Growing Pains" pile. Not anymore! If your kids are struggling, we'd like to help. Not to mention set their movement patterns and postures for the rest of their life. The value is truly immeasureable. Good Luck and #keepmoving

Too often we see major errors with this movement that create stress and damage to the neck, shoulders, and even the low back. Understanding the components of this movement is critical to ensuring stability and health throughout the body. Especially, in a range of motion we are supposed to have, but quickly lose. Life doesn't ask up to press overhead often. Losing this capacity virtually ensures neck and shoulder problems. ... Rebuild it or solidify it. Hopefully this video helps. How we sit and stand will dramatically effect how we heal and degenerate. We showed earlier that training at progressive loads to improve the squat mechanic is critical to joint integrity and full body capacity. But, what about people who don't train with weight yet? The same concept is true - and probably even more important - in every day life. The number of times we sit and stand throughout the day towers over how many times we squat in the gym. Therefore, if we are goi...ng to be great at one, it only makes sense that we should be excellent at squatting into and out of a chair. But who thinks about that? Not many - as evidence by the low back statistics and my practice being very busy with patients that need help achieving this awareness. This video highlights how we go about helping every patient not only squat well, but understand why it is critical for our body's healing and health. Good luck and #keepmoving Dr.J

The grind never ends, but the results are always worth it. Here's a quick look at a few sets of a 7x3 back squat session. The focus is to go narrow with the stance and grip, while maintaining a strong and upright torso. I generally shoot the hips back into a posterior chain overload... but that doesn't work to well with heavy cleans and snatches. So, gaining some quad drive to maintain better torso position will help in life and the gym. I'm not perfect, nor do I try to ...be. I just love playing the progression game regardless of my age or ability. We, at Health & Performance Center, encourage you to embrace your own struggles - to put in the work to get the great results that you deserve. If you need help, you know we are here. #keepmoving #crush2020 #crushchronicdisease #crushcovid

Belief -> Trust -> Faith -> Compliance -> Results -> Referrals Whether in marriage or practice, we've all felt it. You tell the patient or spouse something 49 times, but someone else gets credit for the result when they say it on the 50th time. It's inevitable, but there are reasons why this happens. In marriage, it's probably because your beard is too long (males and females! [ 67 more words ] https://chiropcp.com//are-you-connecting-with-your-patien/

We're #1! Unfortunately that means we are the worst, which likely correlates to our relatively high death total with COVID-19. Summer will likely give us a slight reprieve with UV-C light doing its work on the virus, but fall and winter will likely be concerning for those with vulnerabilities.... We have options. We can sit around and wait for a vaccine. Or, we can reduce our vulnerabilities to cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and diabetes with exercise and an anti-inflammatory diet. You know me. I'm not going to rant on the vaccine. You make up your mind and do what you want. However, if we neglect our obligation to maintain a healthy system, we will be putting our economy and the world at great risk for destabilization come fall and winter. #sittingduck Good luck and #keepmoving

Whether you're an athlete or someone trying to maintain your fitness, lifting weights is critical to both your health and performance. However, weightlifting can cause some unintended consequences. Don't get me wrong, it is one of the safest activities you can do. Yet, if a few things are quite right it is easy to build up inflammation and pain. In this instance, an athlete is experiencing neck pain with bench press and power cleans. [ 208 more words ] https://hpc-stl.com/2020/05/11/neck-pain-and-lifting/

The CDC recently reported that the US response was too delayed to adequately manage the spread of COVID-19. I agree but for a totally different reason. The CDC's #2 will contend that testing a travel restrictions would have reduced the effect of coronavirus. I contend that spending $2-3 Trillion on treatments that under-serve and enable Chronic Disease is the real issue.... This is not shaming the people with premature Chronic Disease. It is calling out the people and institutions who should be helping the situation. We consistently spend the most and gain the least (see the information below). This has lead to a "sitting duck" population of Americans with hypertension and diabetes. Because of their mismanagement by a system they have been told to trust, they now have a high risk of mortality if infected. Solution - (It's not too late for anyone) 1. Daily Moderate Intensity Exercise 2. Anti-Inflammatory Diet. I will be posting more information on this from published studies and top researchers. You won't hear it on the news, but you can act on it if you'd like. Good Luck and #keepmoving
