There are some wonderful and delightful words found in the Bible; words that are designed to bring a measure of encouragement to believers in Christ. Hope is one of those words and our God is a God of hope (Romans 15:13). Hope is found in the book of Nahum, especially in chapter 1, verse 7: "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him." We find hope in the comfort that God offers to HIs people in the face of trouble. It's a comf...ort to know He is merciful, as well as a place of protection and rest to those who trust Him. Even Nahum's name is significant: in the Hebrew language, it means "Comfort." We are comforted by the hope God gives. Are you facing hard circumstances and tough times? Hope is found with God.
